The Fanged Lion April 30, 2013 Part Two

Psalm 58’s Heartfelt Desperation Prayer to GOD Part One

This blog article is from the long gone, failed, old testimonial horror of Uncovered No More. I always wanted it to be beautiful and my son crafted a lovely website author blog.

I have heard a joke across my Christian life. It is that Satan, though he is a roaring lion, is also “toothless”.

That is a lie. I have seen in the spirit what the lion Satan looks like: he is a ferocious lion who has fangs of the Serpent of old in his mouth. That Serpent is he who tempted Adam and Eve.

I Peter 5:5-11

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

It is treacherous indeed how Christians, even jokingly, have cast Satan in the light of being toothless. This is good for him because then Christians tend to think they have authority against demons that they actually don’t have, and therefore, they will continue to remain tormented by demonic intervention (upper and lower level) associated with the curse on both Satan and the humans involved. Even Christians, if we are not sober minded in how we walk on this earth, can be severely oppressed. Otherwise, the Apostle Peter would not say, “knowing the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world….”

Christians must continually be drawn to Christ, Who came and suffered in obedience to the point of death on the cross. That is why this passage also explicitly states, “…humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God…..”. We must be refined by the fire of life just like the unbeliever is unto the saving of our lives into eternity with I AM.

If we think Satan is toothless, then we miss seeing the fang bites and venemos work of That Bastard as he torments believers, and unbelievers, alike. We will therefore put way more blame upon people than we should, thereby allowing demonic torment to ravage said people who cannot reach the love of Christ. Westboro Baptist Church is the epitome of what I am talking about. Just go see how they treat homosexuals, and you will get an idea of how far wrong Christians can go with this mess of misconceptions as it pertains to Satan.

Repentance removes blinders because God set it in place that humility is the one elemental human choice which will give God the green light to lift us up. Blindness removal so we can see satanic torment and temptation is being lifted up by God.

What is the perfection of which the Apostle Peter speaks in this passage?

First John 4:10-19

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.

This morning I had a wakeful dream that showed me this fanged lion. It made me sick to my stomach and I immediately became afraid. Therefore, my testimony is that love is being perfected in Cara Coffey because I knew the torment of that fear and decided to testify on my blog instead of give in to the fear….and remain silent about the lies of Satan that Christians are believing.

Come, Christian Nation, let us not be afraid of the Fanged Lion. He is a despicable foe, yes. But we have our Jesus Christ to be with us, and our Comforter Holy Spirit to make us strong and able warriors who fight this lion thereby spreading the Gospel and helping other Christians by the word of our mouth be set free from the Venomous Lies perpetuated across time.
